About the Trio
Cristina Candy - Piano
Jazz pianist Cristina Candy is the heart and soul of the Joy Spring Trio. She is known throughout Connecticut as a performer in big bands, combos, and as a solo player. In recent years she has also been the rehearsal accompanist for over half-dozen musical productions and an orchestral pianist with local amateur and professional symphony orchestras. In association with her husband, Greg, Cristina performs frequently as an orchestral percussionist.
It was through Cristina's percussion association with the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra that she formed the Joy Spring Trio, to perform for orchestra fund raisers.
